What to Expect
Where to Go
Trinity UMC, in downtown Rome, isn’t hard to miss. Conveniently located off of Turner McCall Blvd and 5th Avenue, Trinity UMC is 3 blocks from Broad Street and in walking distance to Barron Stadium and Ridge Ferry Park.
Once on Trinity’s campus, you’ll notice two separate yet easily recognizable church buildings with steeples. The three-story church building with the playground attached to it is the Trinity On 5th Building. The two story church building with red double doors is the Turner McCall Building.
Trinity’s main worship services, Sunday School classes, the nursery, Wednesday night dinners and activities, most meetings, and the children and youth ministries meet in either the Trinity On 5th Building or the Turner McCall Building.
Where to Park
At Trinity UMC, we have multiple different places you can park so you never have to worry about finding a parking space.
Want the VIP experience, we saved parking spaces just for you right in front of the red double doors on the backside of the Turner McCall Building. Don’t want the VIP experience, any parking spaces you see between Turner McCall Blvd and 5th Avenue are free game.
Those with accessibility needs have marked parking spaces in front of the entrances to both buildings.
What to Wear
Dress code is black tie optional… just kidding!
At Trinity UMC, we want people to be more focused on their faith than on what they’re wearing. Most people wear business casual clothes while others dress in jeans. Either way, we want you to feel comfortable. Whether in a tie, a dress, or your favorite pair of jeans, we think you’ll fit in great!
Is childcare available?
Trinity UMC offers safe, clean, and free childcare for all guests and members while their parents and guardians are in worship or during meetings and events. To learn more about childcare, contact our Director of Children’s Ministry, Dawn Daniel.
What service should I go to?
Sunday Worship Times: 8:45, 9:45, and 2 services at 11 a.m.
Everyone is different. That’s how God made us - each perfectly unique and wonderful. It makes sense that we should each have our own preference for what kind of worship service we like.
Gospel Service at 8:45 a.m.
Causal, blend between modern and traditional
The Gathering at 9:45 a.m.
Laid-back, simple, conversational worship that often serves in the community on Sunday morning instead of coming to the church
Traditional Worship at 11 a.m.
Formal worship experience with historical creeds, a choir and music from hymnals
Modern Worship at 11 a.m.
Casual setting with modern music led by a praise band
